My mom told me today that she was able to talk to her jeweller friend about wifey’s engagment ring. We’ll go to her house later to check it out. There goes a couple of month’s salary…hehehe. With this I’m hoping that in return I will be getting a few years worth of being able to turn on the tv past 9PM without anybody nagging about the noise…hehehe. It was either the ring or a new tv for me…hehehe…she chose wisely…that is, she’ll be the one to sleep upstairs from now on…hehehe

I tried accessing the blog and I found MySQL error messages splatterred all over the page. I didn’t have time to fix it yesterday because of the re-setup of one server. I did the logical thing though. Backup the db so that I could debug and re-install it if necessary. Come morning when I checked up on it again, blog was fine.

Lesson learned : always schedule backups!!!

**Note: Finally found out that the cause was that the server was full…damn!!!…not my fault there since I hardly consume my space allotment

Technically I’m on a self imposed diet. I noticed that when wifey left i was able to lose some weight. Why? because nobody’s breathing down my neck to eat 3 meals a day…hehehe. Alas I digress from the topic. So usually I don’t eat dinner anymore but alas, what did I see before me? Yaya’s special spaghetti…why special? because I love the taste of it sooo much…not the sweet kind and not pre-mixed. I just hate premixed spaghetti, I always want to be the one to mix the sauce and noodles. That way I can control the mixture and the amount of meet coming into my meal. Some people say that my spaghetti looks bland, heck it is, if you were acidic wouldn’t you make your food as bland as possible?…hehehe

I’ve been hooked on a new anime series called Chobits. Its on the new channel Animax in SkyCable. It ain’t for kids though, but then again the liberated Japanese seem to show this on a normal viewing time slot.

I like the new Animax channel of sky but I don’t know how long they’ll last given that the anime that they’re showing ain’t exactly for kids…not because of their programming, but rather because most mainstream anime are already overflowing with adult content. Very hard to find “tame” anime these days
